1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a form, calling or texting us, or accepting an estimate from First Class Glass, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.

2. About Our Services

First Class Glass is a residential and commercial glass company based in Waterford, Michigan. We provide services including frameless shower doors and enclosures, glass railings, custom mirrors, window glass replacement, commercial storefront glass, and related glass fabrication and installation work. Service availability depends on your location, site conditions, and material lead times.

3. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates are based on the information, measurements, and site conditions available at the time they are prepared. Prices are subject to change if actual conditions differ from what was described, if material costs change before the work is scheduled, or if you request changes to the scope of work. Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise on the estimate itself. An estimate is not a contract until it is accepted by you and confirmed by us.

4. Scheduling, Access, and Site Conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled date, including clear pathways, parking, working electricity where required, and removal of personal belongings from the immediate work area. Delays caused by inaccessible work areas, unfinished work by other trades, or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling and may result in additional charges. Installation dates are estimates and can be affected by material lead times, weather, and circumstances beyond our control.

5. Measurements and Custom Orders

Glass, mirror, and hardware products are cut and fabricated to order. Once a custom order is placed and fabrication has begun, it cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded. Where you provide measurements yourself rather than having us measure, you are responsible for the accuracy of those measurements and for the cost of any product that does not fit as a result.

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit may be required before materials are ordered, with the balance due on completion. We accept the payment methods identified on your estimate or invoice. Past due balances may be subject to late fees and collection costs permitted by Michigan law. Title to installed materials remains with First Class Glass until payment is received in full.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. Cancellations made after custom materials have been ordered or fabricated may be subject to charges covering materials and labor already incurred. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather, supply delays, staffing, or safety conditions.

8. Workmanship and Warranty

We warrant our installation workmanship against defects for the period stated on your estimate or invoice. Products, hardware, and glass are covered by the manufacturer warranties that apply to them, and we will help you make a claim under those warranties where applicable. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, improper cleaning products, settling or movement of the structure, water intrusion from other sources, alterations by others, or normal wear.

9. Product Characteristics

Glass and mirror products are natural and manufactured materials. Minor variations in color, tint, texture, and edge work, along with characteristics inherent to tempered and coated glass, are normal and are not considered defects. Samples and website photographs are representative and may differ from the final installed product.

10. SMS and Text Messaging Terms

Program description.First Class Glass sends text messages to customers and prospective customers who have opted in. Messages are one to one communications about your inquiry, estimate, or job, and may include appointment confirmations and reminders, estimate and quote follow-ups, technician arrival notifications, job status updates, invoice and payment reminders, and customer service replies. First Class Glass does not run automated text marketing campaigns and does not send mass promotional text blasts.

Consent.By providing your mobile number to First Class Glass and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from us at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency.Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us about your project or service request.

Cost.Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
